BYU is a top notched university. One thing about BYU universtiy is that there are lots of college presidents in the country who receive millions of dollars a year. The dean of BY is paid 160,000 dollars a year as well as the very capable professors receive a similar amount. This is Mormon style. Costs at BY, are kept low to benefit all. In this way the students, all students, regardless of race, creed or FINACIAL BACKGROUND, all can receive a first rate education. I learned this when I took a history course in Santa Monica college, "During the great depression, not one Mormon went on the dole." It says a lot for Mormons that during the depression, the people in Utah did not have the same circumstances that other states were having at that time. In fact Utah prospered during that time.

@@alessandrochuy433 one thing can be said for both: if an individual expresses belief that doesn’t align that person will have negative consequence imposed on them that other freedom based organizations allow. Both BYU and North Korea use the “we are a private entity and so we can punish people who publicly criticize us” card. BYU hides behind “American values” but in practice they are as totalitarian as North Korea. But at least North Korea is honest and doesn’t try to pretend they love “freedom for all”.

Yes hi everyone I’ve been praying for an invitation to Zion and need to let all know I am not well pleased with article of faith # 11 I get revelation spiritual I feel the presence of the spirit not now but sometimes I was saved 15 years ago by chance I felt a conviction come over me to repent for bruising my first loves womb a year latter the peace of God fell on me and I began to cry tears of life anyway I have given my arguments to some elders and one teacher but cannot get a positive response 😁 and am now crying out to you or those who read my message for recognition please I believe much of the Book of Mormon but still cannot worship with those who may believe doing more or less than what has been prescribed by the gospel appropriate and feel that I would like to try and heal the conscience minds of those who believe so or attempt to convince an accurate conviction for those who will listen to us the Lord and I or the spirit no one from the Mormon church talks to me anymore and when they do it’s aggressive without understanding and fragmenting to my potential but I know I am an Ambassador of Christ and a Mormon who believes Joseph smiths translation and testimony not only these things but Brigham Young’s teachings as well but not all the prophets still not all Amen 🙏.
I’ve been wanting to go to BYU since I was 7. I’m in the 8th grade now and I’m working really hard to get into BYU.
Don’t do it they will take away your hard earned freedom. Tell your parents sorry but and go somewhere that gives students ALL of their rights.

good for you. As a BYU alum, I wholeheartedly endorse the Y. It has been amazing for my life, both personally and professionally. I met my wife there although we didn't marry until both of us had graduated. I recommend aiming for a 4.0 GPA, better than a 30 on ACT, and having solid volunteerism, extra curriculars, and being faithful in the gospel and seminary attendance. The VERY low cost of BYU was such a blessing as I had almost no debt upon graduation and had many opportunities to work on campus jobs to pay for school as I studied. I now work in a very demanding and well compensated field and BYU helped make that happen.

I went there BYU Campus this is Beautiful place I really love to go. I am biggest fan BYU Cougars all so many places campus Brick Oven Pizza and Desert Book & Climb Y Mountain. Also I went to Aspen Grove Family Camp Conference & Center with my family spending time and because I'm buying a shirt and Nachos. This is so much fun last July
